6 booked under Gambling ActThe Crime Branch of the city police arrested six persons for allegedly gambling at a public place. Three were arrested from Sector 23 rehri market and over Rs 1,100 recovered from their possession. In a separate case, three more were held from near PGI's main gate and Rs 400 recovered from them. Truck driver held n IN an accident near the Manimajra roundabout, a Tata-709 truck hit a car and a scooter, injuring scooterist Kashi of Sector 47.The police have arrested the truck driver.Molestation bidA Hallomajra resident alleged that one Jaswant Singh trespassed into her house, assaulted her and tried to molest her. However, he ran away when she raised an alarm. The police have registered a case.
