The Left and the Right wing have finally found something to agree upon.

Indicating that it would support the constitutional amendment to reduce the size of jumbo Cabinets to 10 per cent of the total strength of the House, the CPI-M today said that it would also support amendments to the anti-defection law which would make it far more stringent.

‘‘We generally agree with the move. In principle, we support that even a single defector should be disqualified and that the number of ministries should be reduced,’’ CPI-M leaders said in the Lok Sabha today.
