A seven-member CPI(M) parliamentary delegation on Thursday visited the affected villages of Nandigram and heard the complaints of people against the CRPF posted there to maintain law and order. The team led by CPI(M) leader in the Lok Sabha Basudev Acharya, visited Sonachura, Kunjapur, Sherkhanchawk and Satengabari on Thursday morning. Residents complained that the central forces posted there conducted searches in their homes at night, CPI(M) sources said. They said CPI(M) supporters mostly evicted from these villages during the height of the anti-land grab movement, met the team members and submitted their grievances.
