In spite of actor Aamir Khan’s fervent pleas to the court to get his brother Faisal’s custody, a Bandra metropolitan magistrate on Wednesday ordered that Faisal live with his father Tahir Hussain for a month.
In a statement recorded by the court, Faisal said he did not have any ailment and that he forcibly underwent medical treatment because of Aamir.
Magistrate Pankaj Shah, however, said the doctor’s report was very clear and directed Faisal to go to the Khar police station on alternate days. If Faisal’s behaviour was found abnormal within this period, the Khar police is supposed to take him into custody immediately to prevent any untoward incident, the court held.
Faisal, however, told the court that Aamir had practically put him under house arrest between February 1, 2005 and January 2006. He refused to stay with Aamir or his mother and told the court that if at all he has to live in the custody of a relative, he wants to live with his father.
The court held that the allegations made by the family about Faisal’s condition were not justified considering the medical report of the J J Hospital doctors. Also, allegation made by Faisal against Aamir was baseless as the latter was supporting him and they had no dispute, the magistrate said. During the one month Faisal has to undergo treatment as suggested by the doctors, the court ruled.
