VADODARA, JAN 31: A middle-aged couple residing in Gulab Vatika Society on Tandalja Road committed suicide in their bathroom under mysterious circumstances on Sunday.There was no marks of injury or strangulation anywhere on their body, the police said. While no suicide note has been recovered from their house, police say the two consumed poison.According to details, while everyday the couple took a bath early in the morning, it being Sunday the two - Mayurbhai Narendrabhai Shah (42) and Diptiben (38) - entered the bathroom together at around 11 am, much late than their daily routine.However, when they didn't come out till noon, their children knocked at the door repeatedly. Finding no response, they informed their maidservant, who in turn told their neighbour Divyesh Shukla. Shukla broke open the bathroom door and seeking the two on the floor immediately called a doctor from the neighbourhood, who pronounced them dead. The bodies have been sent to the SSG Hospital for autopsy.
