NAGPUR, July 19: Independent corporator from Ganga Jamuna ward Bharat Mohadikar, along with his henchmen, allegedly murdered a 18-year-old girl at Lakadganj on Thursday morning and reportedly injured two of the girl’s brothers.

Mohadikar is the local office bearer of the Arun Gawli-sponsored Akhil Bharatiya Sena and reportedly fled to Mumbai to attend the ABS rally.

Mohadikar and his three accomplices, is said to have attacked Chandrashekhar Nikhare’s house in Lakadganj on Thursday injuring 22-year-old Chandrashekhar badly. Seeing Chandrashekhar rush in with assailants behind him, his sister, Rekha, 18, blocked the entrance. The assailants chopped Rekha’s right hand and stabbed her. Her elder sister Meera and elder brother Laxman were also attacked. Rekha died on the spot due to excessive bleeding, while Laxman bore serious injuries.
