BANGALORE, April 19: A three-member gang stabbed a night beat police constable when he went to rescue aperson being threatened by the miscreants at the City railway station on April 17. According to police, a person approached constables Krishnappa and Revanna, attached to Kengeri Gate police station, who wereon night beat and complained about the gang threatening him near Railway Mail Service building. The gang members fled after stabbing Revanna on his stomach when the police constables tried to catch them.
