Conservation via water literacy

The Earth Care Foundation has stated that in the new millennium, wars will be fought not over territory or border disputes, but over water. In order to promote ‘water literacy’ and ‘water sensitivity’, the foundation is launching a lecture series to spread water awareness and water conservation methods.

Secretary of The Earth Foundation, Savita Gokhale said that the organisation is planning demonstrating water conservation techniques by involving children and corporates to spread the message. It is tying up participation from the government and other organisations to spread its message.
