NEW DELHI, FEBRAURY 2: The Congress on Tuesday demanded that the government clarify its stand on the serious corruption charges levelled by Rear Admiral Suhas Purohit in naval purchases.``This is a very serious allegation by a very senior officer on a very sensitive matter. It relates to the defence of our country, its sovereignty and integrity,'' party spokesman Ajit Jogi told reporters here.``We demand that the government should take the nation into confidence and share its views on the issue,'' he added.
