Former PM Atal Behari Vajpayee on Saturday alleged that the Congress-Left alliance at the Centre was working against national interest.
Vajpayee, who was speaking at a day-long refresher course for BJP parliamentarians, said: ‘‘This alliance, led by the Congress and the Left, is working for its own narrow interests. It is deeply hurting national interests.’’
In an obvious reference to the removal of governors, Vajpayee said the Government was setting ‘‘dangerous precedents’’.
