NAGPUR, MARCH 6: The clean sweep by the Congress-Republican Party of India alliance in Vidarbha during the Lok Sabha polls has given Congress reason to cheer. Many have demanded that the ruling BJP-Shiv Sena alliance ministers resign.Former legislator Ashok Dhawad, reacting sharply to the electoral debacle of the BJP-Sena alliance in Vidarbha, said, ``Money power and a false picture of negative development cannot win elections. The Lok Sabha polls proved this,'' he said. The voters rejected the hollow promises of Guardian Minister Nitin Gadkari and elected a secular party to power. Dhawad also thanked Congress and RPI workers for ``showing unmatched unity'' during the polls.Organising secretary of Nagpur city and district Congress Seva Dal Rajesh Naik demanded the Gadkari's resignation on moral grounds.
