Cong calls again for secular tie-up

Holding out hope for tie-ups with the Samajwadi Party and BSP despite being cold-shouldered on this matter, the Congress on Sunday said it was committed to uniting secular parties on a single platform to take on communal forces. ‘‘If they do not respond, the people will decide who is secular and who is not,’’ party spokesperson Kapil Sibal said. ‘‘We are still saying that all secular forces must come together,’’ he said. —(PTI)
