BSP leader and former Uttar Pradesh CM Mayawati today accused the BJP of getting her ‘‘falsely implicated’’ in the Taj corridor case and charged the Congress of using it to suppress her growing popularity.‘‘I have been falsely implicated in the case for political reasons. But I am not going to succumb under any pressure,’’ she said at a convention of BSP workers in Patna. The former CM said the BJP first falsely implicated her in the Taj corridor case to harass her and then the Congress was using it to keep her entangled in view of her growing political influence.‘‘If any action has to be taken then it should be done against the then UP Chief Secretary and other bureaucrats who were dealing with the project,’’ she said.
