The Delhi State Badminton Championship, earlier scheduled at AIIMS gymnasium from September 5-8, will now be held at the Northern Railway hall from September 12. Entries will now close at 6 pm on Sept 9 at the venue.

Basketball
The 16th Captains’ Sports Club Basketball Tournament (for men. women, college boys and school boys) will be held from September 14 to 30 at Kirori Mal College. Entries close on Sept 8 with secretary general KP-7, Maurya Enclave, Pitampura, Delhi-34.

Cricket
Fifteen top teams, including holders Mohan Meakin, Collage Group, Chand Khanna XI, Delhi Blues, Malviya, SAIL, ONGC, Subhana, Sonnet, Madras Club, Young Friends and D S Group, will participate in the eighth Shera Pandit memorial cricket tournament to be held at Mohan Meakin ground in Mohan Nagar from September 7.

The second Prem Chand Cup will be held at DDA complex (opposite IIT Hostel) from September 19. Entries close on Sept 10 with Bobby (5633045) and Bishan (6184416).

Table tennis
The Pepsi Delhi State tournament will be conducted from September 9 to 12. Entries close on Friday with organising secretary Hukam Singh, 6/2543, Beadonpura, Karol Bagh.

The trauma centre's in-charge, Dr Anurag Dhakad, had raised concerns about faulty electrical systems, water leakage, and unsafe construction work, but no action was taken.
