CHANDIGARH, Feb 10: Colours of Rajasthan, an exhibition of paintings and sculptures by 60 artists opened today at the Punjab Arts Council gallery in Sector 16.

Among the artists whose works are displayed include R.G. Vijayvargiye, Kirpal Singh Sekhawat, B.C. Gue, I.R. Pendharkar, D.N. Sharma, P.N. Choyel, Suresh Sharma, V.S. Upadhayay, C.S. Mehta, P.C. Goswami, N.L. Verma, Vedpal Bannu, R.B. Gautam, Shail Ghoyal, Ram Jaiswal and S.S. Khangerot Sagar. UT Home Secretary Anuradha Gupta inaugurated the show which will be on view daily between 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. until February 14.

The exhibition, which originally opened in Jaipur to mark independent India’s 50th anniversary, has been organised jointly by the North Zone Cultural Centre, the Punjab Arts Council and the Jawahar Kala Kendra, Jaipur.
