PATIALA, July 23: The Class IV Punjab Government Employees' Union has threatened to intensify their stir if the long pending demands of the union are not accepted by July 30. The Union has asked the state government to slash the recently ordered bus fares and power tariff hike to the previous level by July 30.The Union, which held a protest march and dharna-cum-rally here today, threatened to go on a hunger strike if the state government failed to give any positive response towards the pending demands of the Union. Before this class IV employees went through the main bazars of the city carrying black flags. They were dispersed in front of the deputy commissioner office. The procession was led by Union leaders including Roop Lal, Ram Ashraram , Mohan Singh , Tarveeni Parshad and R.P. Singh.
