Three CID inspectors have been deputed to probe the recent violence in Jhabua after the alleged rape and murder of a minor girl in a mission school compound, senior police officers said here.
As decided by the government to handover the probe to the state CID, three inspectors were deputed in Alirajpur and Jhabua towns, Indore Range IG P.L. Pandey said last night. About six SIs and ASIs and 15 head constable level policemen were also deputed, he said.
So far, no arrest has been made in connection with the violence as no one was named in the complaints and police has arrested the rape accused on the basis of computer sketch and evidence collected from the spot which were corroborated during the investigation.
