NEW DELHI, DECEMBER 9: China’s heart was not in the game today. They had nothing to play for against Kazakhstan, India having scotched their hopes of making it the final yesterday. China played at a good pace in the first half, knocking in four goals, but seemed to lose interest after the breather.

China earned 12 penalty corners in the game, including four in the first half, while Kazakhstan had five. In fact, the Kazakh girls started on a positive note forcing two penalty corners in first five minutes, but the Chinese regrouped to control the game.
