Chief Secretary agrees to issue pending DA slab

PATIALA, June 17: The Chief Secretary Punjab has agreed to issue the pending D.A. installment for the employees in a day or two and the report of anomaly committee that was time-bound up to September 30. This was disclosed in a release by secretary of the Punjab State Services Federation Harpal Singh here today.

Walia claimed to have met the Chief Secretary with the members of the federation yesterday. He said that the Chief Secretary announced to the delegation implementation of pensioners’ report within a week, formation of committee for filling up of vacant posts by promotions, immediate implementation of pay commission recommendation on board, corporation and universities, government houses at district headquarters for employees and complete implementation of recommendation of women employees immediately. He also announced implementation of assured career promotion scheme within a week and LTC facility in the Punjab Tourism Development Corporation buses.
