The verdict is out. Netizens just do not want Finance Minister P Chidambaram replaced. In an opinion poll conducted by Express Online, of all the Netizens who voted their will, an overwhelmingly large number approximately 57% said that Chidambaram should not be moved from his current post.

The poll question asked the Netizens, should P Chidambaram exit Finance Ministry to take care of External Affairs. There is considerable speculation about the imminent reshuffling of ministries in the Union Cabinet in the near future.

The verdict of the people does not spring a surprise because P Chidambaram has been one of the most acclaimed Finance Ministers of the country so far, Netizens felt. How can anyone forget that he is known for his open and progressive ideas, one of the few who volunteered to do his bid in opening up of the Indian economy, so earnestly required by the country at such a crucial stage as the present times?

India is one of the fourth largest economies of Asia and is one of the fastest growing economies of the world. Almost all the big players of the corporate world are so eager to enter the Indian markets. This has been made possible by the constant efforts of the pro-liberalisation polices of the previous and current governments in shedding the inhibitory image of the Indian economy into something which is now spreading a red carpet welcome to the corporate giants of the globe.

The present United Progressive Alliance govt enjoys the support of Left but despite that not much dilution has been allowed in the economic reforms of the country. Chidambaram is one face to which the progressive economy can affably look forward to.

Experience is one thing which comes gradually and in the changing dynamics of the world economic arena and the looming threats and challenges, changing the portfolio of the Finance Minister, in an abrupt manner would certainly cannot be said to be in the favour of the country. most of the Neitzens feel.

Neitzens further add that today Indian economy is riding in a great stride and to sustain that growth, India needs one person like P Chidambaram to maintain that high speed.
