CHANDIGARH, Sept 28: Chandigarh Housing Board today auctioned 12 booths constructed by it in Manimajra for Rs 118 lakh.

According to Secretary of the Board, M.L. Sharma, the highest price bid received for a single shop was Rs 13.12 lakh, at the rate of Rs 57,813 per square yard and the lowest bid was Rs 37,333 per square yard.

CHB had earlier organised an auction of the booths constructed by it at Maloya. The Board is now chalking out comprehensive plans to speedily complete the disposal of its remaining unoccupied commercial properties, said Sharma.

He added that the Board has also revised the formula followed for several years for determining the reserve prices.
