CHENNAI, May 18: Residents of Ram Colony in the City's West Mambalam area have alleged that the drinking water supplied to the area is contaminated, causing an outbreak of viral fever. They complained in a face-to-face meeting organised by Exnor International that the incidence of theft had also increased in the area, and attributed this to "lack of police cooperation".
