Goods worth Rs 12,000 stolen
Thieves broke into a karyana shop in Swastik Vihar in Panchkula on Monday night and stole goods worth Rs 12,000. According to police sources, the thieves entered the shop from the backside after breaking the lock of the shutter. The police have registered a case and further investigations into the robbery are on.
Children8217;s Day celebrated
The St. Soldier International Convent School, celebrated Children8217;s Day here today. The pre-primary section went out for a picnic and the staff presented an entertainment programme for the rest of the school children.
