CHANDIGARH, Nov 17: It is win at any cost for some teams, or so it seems if one goes by the protest lodged by the participating teams in the ongoing 44th National School Games here. The teams not only made written complaints with the organising committee against the biased decision of the table officials but also for fielding `outsiders’ by hosts — Chandigarh in handball event in both the boys and girls groups in the semifinals today.

The Madhya Pradesh players, who lost to Chandigarh in the semifinal (13-20) in the boys section, also raised slogans against the organising committee. The MP team played under protest.

In the girls section, Chandigarh beat Haryana 17-13 to reach the final. The Haryana team manager Ranbir Singh lodged a complaint that the Chandigarh had fielded `outsiders’ to win the match.
