CHANDIGARH, May 25: DS Negi in the feather weight and Vikas Bhardwaj in light weight category are among the eight-member Chandigarh senior boxing team, selected for the 10th All India Invitational Boxing Championship to be held at Nanital from June 5 to 9.
More than a dozen boxer turned up for the trials held today, at the Boxing Coaching Centre, Sector 23. The selected pugilist would also undergo a coaching camp from May 27 to June 3, at BCC-23.
Others selected are: Anand Kumar light, Navdeep Singh fly, Vijay Singh Rana light welter, Prem Raj Thakur welter, Kulwinder Singh light heavy and Sunil heavy.
Wrestling team
The Chandigarh Wrestling Association has selected the boys and girls teams for the forthcoming sub-junior national wrestling championship to be held at Nadhdwara Rajasthan from May 28 to 31. The trials were recently held at Wrestling Coaching Centre, Sector 30.

N Gupta will be the manager while Dharshan Lal and Amrik Singh will accompany the teams as coaches.
