Centre to decide Taslima’s stay: CPM

The CPI (M) on Friday reiterated that Taslima Nasreen’s stay is something which the Centre has to decide.

The CPI (M) on Friday reiterated that Taslima Nasreen’s stay is something which the Centre has to decide. “The West Bengal Government has nothing to do with it,” Yechury said here. The CPI (M)-led Government in West Bengal had earlier said that Nasreen could return to Kolkata if she liked. However, it will depend on the Centre whether or not she will be allowed to do so.
