Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav today accused the centre of tapping his phone and that of other Samajwadi Party leaders, including Amar Singh.
“We have concrete evidence that the phones of party general secretary Amar Singh, PWD Minister Shivpal Singh Yadav and some other party leaders are also being tapped besides my phone,” he said.
“There are new techniques by which voice could be recorded and misused with the help of computers later to frame a person in some case,” he said.
The Congress dismissed the allegations. “Yadav has been in the habit of making such allegations,” Congress spokesman Akhilesh Pratap Singh said.
