NEW DELHI, February 25: As part of their examination reforms, the Central Board of Secondary Education CBSE has initiated measures to minimise errors.
Pavnesh Sharma, Controller of Examinations, CBSE said the format of answer books had been revised with two vertical columns for writing the marks instead of the existing four columns. He said that the colour of the answer book for Secondary and Senior Secondary has been made different and a separate sheet has been provided for marks to be written by examiners, instead of them writing marks on the title cover of the answer book.
The first coordinator will put the marks down on the title cover, calculate the total and will write down the marks both on the title cover and at the end of the last question attempted by the examinee. The second coordinator will take the sheet from the Head Examiner on which the examiner has put down the marks and collate it with the marks on the answer book.
