Mohd Sporting and Bullens Academy won their matches on the inaugural day of Maharaja Agarsen tournament for under-14. The final will be played on October 17 at Mont Fort ground.

Basketball trials
Trials to select Delhi boys and girls teams for participation in the 26th sub-junior national basketball championship at Anandpur Sahib next month, will be held at 3 pm on October 15 at the National Stadium. Players born on or after 1-1-1986 are eligible.

DDA hockey
The second DDA Prize Money Invitational Hockey Tournament and first Rink Hockey Championship will be held from October 11 to 16 at Major Dhyan Chand Stadium, Ashok Vihar. Title for Nanda n Jatin Nanda won the Pepsi Challenger beating Rajesh Malhotra 2-0 in the final. Honey Chaddha finished third.
