PATNA, JUNE 14: Bihar PCC president Chandan Bagchi on Wednesday said the Rabri Devi government should take steps to improve law and order in the state and demanded a CBI probe into Sunday’s massacre of 12 people at Apsad village in Nawada district.

The killing of 12 upper caste men had once again exposed the chinks in the armour of state administration, Bagchi, who visited the carnage site along with senior Congress leader Ramshray Prasad Singh yesterday, told newsmen here.

"The government must take steps for toning up the state administration to prevent recurrence of the massacres," he said and demanded an immediate meeting of the coordination committee of coalition partners in the Rabri Devi ministry.
