Two Turkish university students, one of them wearing a head scarf, walk past the main campus of the Istanbul University in Turkey on Tuesday.Turkey urged female students not to take advantage of a measure lifting a ban on Islamic head scarves after some students wore the head coverings to classes even before the law was approved by the President. Parliament overwhelmingly passed the bill on Saturday, but it needs to be endorsed by President Abdullah Gul before it comes into effect.
