The Mumbai police today made three different applications in court regarding the Mohammed Afroz case, one of them requesting a cancellation of alleged Al-Qaeda man’s bail.

Special Public Prosecutor Ujjwal Nikam informed that the police have also applied for interrogating the undertrials in Byculla jail who were Afroz’s fellow prisoners and also the teachers of the Art of Living course, to whom he is said to have confessed his crimes.

The third application is for a issuing a non-bailable arrest warrant against his brother, Mohammed Farooque, whose anticipatory bail application was recently rejected in the Sessions Court and Bombay High Court.
