TOULOUSE, June 10: Cameroon's indomitable lions look to retrieve their World Cup reputation when they take on ageing Austria in their first Group `B' match tomorrow.Cameroon coach Claude le Roy knows his young side must break through an organised defence to grab a win as they did most famously in 1990 when they beat Argentina in the opening game and went on to reach the last eight.Four years later, however, they tumbled out at the first hurdle after an unsettled campaign marred by quarrels over money and an embarrassing 1-6 defeat by Russia.``We know it will be very difficult. Italy are above us, Chile are a little bit above, and therefore we will have to fight against Austria,'' le Roy said. The veteran Austrians, who have not enjoyed the best of warm-up campaigns, hope that their experience will tell against their younger opponents, who have seven players aged 23 or under in the squad, including 17-year-old Samuel Eto'o, the youngest player at the tournament. In sharp contrast, 11 of the Austrian 22are over 30. ``It's very important to get three points in the first game. Otherwise it's going to be difficult,'' said Austrian central defender Anton Pfeffer.Although Cameroon have notched up some decent wins recently, including a 2-1 victory in Denmark, they still lack a regular goal scorer.Probable teams: Cameroon: 1-Jacques Songo'o; 4-Rigobert Song, 5-Raymond Kalla, 6-Pierre Nianka; 3-Pierre Wome, 20-Salomon Olembe, 10-Patrick Mboma, 14-Augustine Simo, 15-Joseph Ndo; 18-Samuel Ipoua, 7-Francois Omam Biyik.Austria: 1-Michael Konsel; 5-Wolfgang Feiersinger; 3-Peter Schoettel, 4-Anton Pfeffer; 13-Harald Cerny, 22-Dietmar Kuehbauer, 17-Roman Maehlich, 8-Heimo Pfeifenberger 15-Arnold Wetl; 10-Andreas Herzog, 19-Anton Polster.Referee: Epifanio Gonzalez Chaves (Paraguay).
