Cadbury India, on Tuesday launched its dark chocolates-Cadbury Bournville Fine Dark Chocolate-in the Indian market."Globally, dark chocolate is the fastest-growing segment. It is loved by millions of consumers because of its rich taste and intrinsic health and well-being benefits," Cadbury India's Director, Marketing, Sanjay Purohit, said in Mumbai.The chocolate would be available in four different variants-Rich Cocoa (80g), Almond, Hazelnut and Raisin & Nut (90g). The chocolates would be available at a price of Rs 75."The stores need to maintain certain standards to preserve these chocolates. The stores should have proper storage equipment," Purohit added.The company would start a campaign for Bournville Fine Dark Chocolate in November."The campaign would begin in November and would entail national advertising on television, print and sampling," Purohit said.During the festive season, the company expects an increase of around 15-20 per cent in its revenue. "During the on-going festive season (September-November), we expect around 15-20 per cent increase in our revenue," said Purohit.The Indian chocolate market is growing at a rate of 20 per cent on an year-on-year basis with Cadbury India claiming a marketshare of 70 per cent.
