NAGPUR, OCT 18: Senior Congress leader and former Union Minister Sardar Buta Singh and Buddhist spiritual leaders from Taiwan will grace the Dhamma Chakra Pravartan din celebration at Deekshabhoomi on October 19.The function organised by Dr Ambedkar Smarak Samiti will mark the 43rd anniversary of the historic occasion of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar embracing Buddhism along with his followers in 1956. Addressing a press conference, Samiti General Secretary Sadanand Fulzele said, an elaborate arrangement was being made at the historic Deekshabhoomi where a huge congregation of Buddhists pilgrims from parts of Maharashtra and adjoining states is expected on October 18 and 19. Samiti President and former MP R S Gavai will preside over the function.
