As many as 29 people, including women and children, were killed and 30 others seriously injured when the bus in which they were travelling caught fire in Firozabad on Tuesday evening.The accident occurred when one of the tyres of the bus, travelling in high speed, burst, resulting in a massive fire, Superintendent of Police, Firozabad, Navneet Kumar Rana said.The victims were returning from a Satsang in Jai Gurudev Ashram in Mathura when the incident happened near Rupaspur village in Makhanpur police station area, killing 29 people, he said, adding the injured have been rushed to various hospitals in Firozabad and Agra.There were about 70 passengers in the bus when the accident happened, he added.The victims belonged to Sultanpur district of the state.
