CHENNAI, April 29:Blue Cross of India, in association with the People for Animals ,will organise a two-day pet adoption programme in the city on May 2 & 3. About 200 canines will be made available for the visitors at the premises.

A week after clashes erupted in Bareilly over the “I Love Muhammad” posters, authorities have suspended internet services in the district for another 48 hours, citing intelligence inputs of possible unrest after Friday prayers. Maulana Shahabuddin Razvi, general secretary of the All India Tanzeem Ulama-e-Islam, also appealed to people to maintain peace.
