PANCHKULA, JULY 25: A blood donation camp was organised yesterday by the Friends Social Services Society to pay tributes to the Kargil heroes. The camp was organised at the Shri Guru Ram Das Bhavan in Sector 15 here.A cultural programme was also held on the occasion, in which students of around 10 schools participated. The students sang patriotic songs.The family members of Major Sandeep Sagar and Deputy Commandant Joy Lal, who were killed in Kargil, were also present on the occasion.The general secretary of the society, Mahavir Singh, paid tributes to the Kargil martyrs and lauded them for their sacrifices. The chief guest on the occasion was Brig. Satya Dev, secretary, Rajya Sainik Board, Haryana.
