The BJP will hold a massive rally on November 6 with its over 3 lakh workers ahead of assembly poll scheduled in the state on December 4.

Top BJP leaders, including L K Advani, party president Rajnath Singh, Venkaiah Naidu, and Gopinath Munde would be among others who will address the ‘Vijay Sankalp Mahakumbh’ rally, Ramdas Agarwal, party national treasurer told a press conference in Jaipur on Monday.

There are 42,500 polling booths in 200 assembly seats and eight workers have been deployed at each booth. All those workers will attend the ‘Mahakumbh’, Agarwal said.

Party was working on the candidates’ list and it would be out anytime after November 6, he said, adding that it would be the beginning of campaign in the state.

There was no anti-incumbency factor affecting the ruling BJP government in the state and the opposition Congress has failed to pick up and project any issue against the party, Agarwal said.

The BJP will contest the polls on the basis of development that the Raje government has achieved, he said, adding the election manifesto would also be released soon.

‘Jai Jai Rajasthan’ will be party’s slogan during polls, which will be used by every worker and candidate, he said.

Asked why the party wants to drop the sitting MLAs’ name from the list of its candidates when there is no anti- incumbency factor, Agarwal said it was part of party’s internal matter and politics to whom to give ticket or not.

Agarwal, a Rajya Sabha MP, also criticised the UPA government’s economic policies and said the assembly polls in six states would be a referendum for the Congress led central government for the next Lok Sabha polls due next year.
