‘BJP men charged in Babri should be called criminals’

Thrown out of the BJP for his alleged criminal background, D.P. Yadav on Thursday said if the mere registration of cases made one a criminal, the same yardstick should be applied to those BJP leaders charged in the Babri Masjid demolition case.

‘‘If mere registration of cases makes one a criminal, all those BJP leaders charged in the Babri Masjid demolition case should also be treated as criminals. But they are made ministers,’’ he said, adding he will contest the LS polls to ‘‘prove my worth’’.
