HYDERABAD, Nov 6: The Bharatiya Janata Party is open minded on forming a government at the Centre with the help of Congress rebels in the near future, said party general secretary M Venkaiah Naidu here today. While making it clear that the BJP was in no hurry to capture power at the Centre, he acknowledged that ``some Congress MPs are knocking at our doors and we have not taken any decision on this yet,'' he said. However, he refused to identify who they are.``There are some wisemen in Congress who know when and how to strike and pull down the Gujral government,'' he said. Some Congress MPs were vexed with the leadership of Sitaram Kesri and were apprehensive of losing in the next elections, he said.Though the party preferred for fresh elections to the Lok Sabha as the present UF regime is being run at the dictates of Congress and its blackmailing tactics, the BJP cannot runaway from forming a government if a majority of MPs were against the dissolution of the House.Venkaiah Naidu felt that an air of uncertainty was prevailing at the Centre and as a result, both Prime Minister I K Gujral and BJP leader Atal Behari Vajapayee were confining themselves to Delhi. ``Going by these indications, I can say that the UF government will not be presenting the next budget,'' he said.Referring to the hectic moves by the UF and Congress leaders to amend the Anti-Defection Law so as to prevent the BJP from coming to power at the Centre, he questioned their commitment to the electoral reforms.
