The BJP high command has directed Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal to wait for the outcome of the Gujarat polls before going in for mid-term elections in his state.During his visit to the Capital, Dhumal discussed the prospect of early polls with Prime Minister A.B. Vajpayee and BJP president Venkaiah Naidu.Sources said the leaders advised Dhumal to wait till the Gujarat polls were over. They said the leaders felt that if the BJP did well in Gujarat, the Himachal BJP could ride the same wave and go in for early polls in December.
