Just two months after ordering 40 business jets to cater to the emerging business aviation market in India, BJETS, a fractional and block charter company based in India and South East Asia, on Wednesday confirmed an order to purchase an additional 10 eight-seater Hawker4000 business jets, with options for five more. The total value of the contract with options is in excess of $330 million. With this order, BJETS is set to have the largest fleet of 55 private jets in Asia in its very first year of operations. “With Asian economies expanding at a phenomenal pace, there is a growing demand for safe, efficient and reliable private jet travel, ” said BJETS CEO Mark Baier.
