Shiv Sena Executive President Uddhav Thackeray has suggested the cricket authorities that if they really want to cheer the cricketers then it is better to have a ‘Bhangra’ performance rather than scantily clad cheergirls dancing in the field. In an informal talk with the reporters here on Monday night, Thackeray said, “Why have cheergirls when Bhangra serves the same purpose in a better way?”About Sharad Pawar, who is Agriculture Minister and BCCI president, Uddhav said he should “concentrate on farmers’ plight the same way he focuses on cricket”.Regarding the infighting within the BJP, Thackeray said, “The party is recovering and I personally had a talk with both Gopinath Munde and Nitin Gadkari.”
