MUMBAI, JULY 18: Unseeded Manu Baria (BMC) prevailed 25-11, 20-25, 25-17 over Ravindra Bachahalwar (United Insurance) and made the men’s singles pre-quarter-finals of the Kshatriya Union Club open district ranking carrom tournament, sponsored by Philips India, Colgate Palmolive, Indian Oil, LIC, State Bank, Punjab National Bank and Abhyudaya Bank, at the Vanmali Hall, Dadar, today.

In another match, Venkatesh Myakal rallied to defeat Mangesh Bhalerao in three games, 0-25, 18-14, 25-16.
