CHANDIGARH, Nov 8: Government Model School-35 and St John’s High School-26 set up a title clash in the under-16 boys group in the Edmund Rice cricket tournament being played at St John’s High School in Sector 26.

St John’s-26 beat St Kabir School-26 by six wickets while Govt Model School-35 defeated New Public School-18 by 38 runs.

For Govt Model School Balwar Pooni hit half century (52) while Mohammed also contributed useful 26 runs to the team’s total.

Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) announced its first list of 14 candidates for the Bihar assembly polls, with its state unit chief Raju Tiwary and leader Hulas Pandey among the nominees. As per the seat-sharing arrangement, LJP (RV) will contest 29 seats, while BJP and JD(U) will contest 101 seats each. The remaining 15 candidates will be announced soon.
