One of the twenty-one accused in the Best Bakery case has urged for dismissal of the special leave petition filed by Citizens for Justice and Peace and others in the Supreme Court saying the petitioners, including National Human Rights Commission, did not have a locus standi to file the instant writ petition.Accused Mahendra Jadhav stated this in the affidavit in the apex court on October 9. Jadhav denied various submissions made by the petitioners saying ‘‘no question of law arises in this petition or as required under Article 136 of the Constitution of India’’.
