Calcutta, Oct 3: Soccer Titans Mohun Bagan regained the prestigious IFA Super League after a span of two years outplaying Mohammedan Sporting by a two goals in their penultimate tie at the Salt Lake Stadium, here today.Both goals were fired in by Nigerian striker and the team think-tank Chima Okarie in the first half.Though Bagan, who won the Super League title last time in 1996, would have to play one more match. They had assured themselves of the league championship as they had taken an unassailable five-point lead against their nearest rival East Bengal. Even if they lose their last match, they would still finish with the maximum two points ahead of others.
