Back Anil, Mukesh tells Infocommers

Two days after the Reliance group was split into separate entities between the Ambani brothers, Mukesh Ambani sent a goodbye note to all the 40,000 employees of Reliance Infocomm — his dream project that is now controlled by Anil Ambani.

‘‘As the responsibility of caring for Reliance Infocomm and leading it is now being handed over to my younger brother Anil Ambani, I send to the new leadership of Reliance Infocomm my best wishes for greater accomplishments. Thanking for making Reliance Infocomm, I am sure that you will give your best to Anil and his team,’’ Mukesh said.

This is the first ever e-mail communication to all staffers of telecom company ever since the split was announced formally by their mother Kokilaben Ambani on Saturday.

He has enormous energy and drive and we share a common commitment to take forward the legacy of our father Dhirubhai Ambani,’’ said the senior Ambani, chairman of India’s largest company Reliance Industries , to all ‘Infocommers.’
