Baba Ramdev will be no more, says threat letter

A letter threatening to kill Yoga Guru Ramdev, who is camping in Moradabad, was received by police who said it was the handiwork of a youth who wanted to falsely implicate his relative.

The letter, received by SSP Moradabad’s office on Wednesday, was sent by a youth in the name of his relative to falsely implicate the latter due to personal enmity, DIG Badri Prasad said.

The letter was written in Hindi and read ‘Baba Ramdev will be no more’, he said, adding security of the Yoga Guru has been enhanced in the wake of the letter.

“Everything is normal and security has been enhanced,” Prasad said.

Yoga Guru Ramdev is camping in the district since March 24 as part of his yoga training camp.
